Isabel was born in Melbourne Australia. Her dad is Australian as is her mother who is Swiss. Her family came originally from Cairns in Australia. They lived on the outskirts of Cairns Australia. Along with her sister Nina, she went to schools in which First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel is currently living at Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was active in drama already during her time at school. She went on to study acting at the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology as well as has recently studied how to use the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method). In 2002, her agent stumbled upon her and she didn't appear in any auditions. The role she was offered was in Home and Away, 1988. Producers thought she was not right for the part but was sufficiently impressed that they created the role of Tasha. Her first TV role was for three years, and she got an award called the Logie Award for new popular talents. Isabel made the move from London Los Angeles in 2008. Her most memorable role came from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). She has since starred in many US and Australian productions, and received numerous awards. Isabel recently played a part on Bosh & Rockit a film which is quickly becoming a Australian iconic. Isabel also starred in the upcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel was also recently finished with Sons of Summer, and she's currently pre-production as Marie Curie for Radiant. The film is directed by the award-winning Annika Glac.
